Virginia Dyess
Funeral Assistant/Receptionist

Virginia is a familiar face to the families we serve having been with Anderson-Clayton Bros. for over 6 years. Virginia loves to spend time with her 2 children, 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She is a member of First Baptist Church in Terrell and prior to joining the funeral home, Virginia worked in the antique business.

Neil Fanion
Funeral Assistant

After 20 years in the telecommunications industry and retiring as a Baptist pastor, Neil joined Anderson-Clayton in 2012. He is a member and officer of Abner Baptist Church of Kaufman and a member of Lions club International. He is married to Lynn (Turner) Fanion. They have four children and eight grandchildren. They live in Kaufman.

June Foster
Funeral Assistant

June is a lifetime resident of Kaufman county and currently serves on the Kaufman Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. A servant at heart, June spends much of her time volunteering at Lions Club, Daughters of the Nile, OES, Meals on Wheels, Genesis Center. She also loves spending time with her husband of 36 years, Kenneth Foster, and their children and grandchildren.

Amy Fulton
Funeral Director

Amy is a lifelong resident of Canton and has been in the funeral industry for 5 years. She brings compassion and true caring to each family she serves. Amy and her fiance, Jeff Tarpley, have 5 chldren: Taylor, Gracie, Ashton, Pierce and Jaymee (due in Dec.'11). She is a member of Clearview Bible Church in Canton and stays very active in her children's activities.

Steven Hawkins
Funeral Director

Steven is a licensed funeral director having graduated from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Science in 2012 as salutatorian of his class. He is a longtime resident of Kaufman who also serves as associate pastor at Grace Fellowship in Kaufman. His wife, Dawn, teaches in Kaufman and they have two wonderful sons.

Jill Johansen
Apprentice Funeral Director

Jill is a lifelong resident of Kaufman and is currently a student at the Dallas Institute of Funeral Science. Jill is a 1981 KHS graduate and looks forward to becoming a licensed Funeral Director next May. She enjoys spending quality time with her children and grandchildren: Brady and son Bradley, Cori and son Cameron, daughter, Chelsea and special niece, Lily.

Carla Null
Pre-Need Specialist

Carla is a longtime resident of Terrell and is a member of the First Baptist Church of Terrell where she is very involved in the choir and children’s ministries. In addition to serving our families with pre-arrangements, she and her husband, Bro. Ricky Null minister at the Terrell Travel Center to travelers and truck drivers.

Max Slayton
East Texas Director of Operations

Max is a lifelong resident of Terrell who has been serving our families for 21 years. He graduated THS in '73 and Dallas Inst. of Funeral Service in '93. He is a deacon at First Baptist-Terrell and member at both Artesia and Prarieville Masonic Lodges. Max has been married to Jill for 32 years and they have three daughters: Jennie, who passed away in 1993, Lindsey, and Hannah, 2 grandchildren, Brayden and Tenley.

Veronica Wilkerson
Funeral Director/Manager

Veronica joined Anderson-Clayton Bros. in 2005 and has worked in the funeral industry for 17 years. She and her husband, Dock Ballard, have two children: Alexandria, 6, and Grant, 3. Veronica is a member of First Baptist Church of Terrell where she is very active in the Children's ministry as well as her daughter's school activities.
