Benny Dale Gibson

Benny Dale Gibson, 79, of Kaufman, TX went to be with the Lord on January 10, 2026, at home surrounded by family. Benny was born on April 24, 1946, to V.E. and Opal Gibson in Dublin, TX. He worked as a truck driver for Central Freight for 24 years and Home Depot for 22 years retiring from both companies. On May 18, 1963, he married Patsy H. Moss in Mesquite, TX, and they spent a loving 62 years together. Benny enjoyed playing guitar, working in his yard, gardening, and working in his shop. He was a Mason and served as a Lodge Grand Master in Texarkana in 1984. He was also a member of the Shriners. Benny went to the Church of God in Longview and was a devoted member. He was a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Brother. His parents, V.E. and Opal, sister, Jean Gibson Owens, and granddaughter Alicia Foster preceded him in death. Those left to cherish his memories are wife Patsy, daughter Patricia Gibson Foster, sons: Benny D. Gibson, Jr., and Bryan D. Gibson; grandchildren: Jessie Foster Jr., Jeremy Foster, Joe Foster, Cassie Foster, Dustin Gibson, Tyler Gibson, Crandall Gibson Cruz; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will miss him dearly. A Celebration of Life service will be held at the Warsaw Community Center in Warsaw on February 7, 2026 from 12-3pm.
