David E. Cox born 9/8/1942 greeted the Lord on 2/5/2026 with two chimes of the church bell. Only son of Ernest and Olga (Simonsen) Cox. The most beloved and dearly missed husband of Colleen O’Neill. Together they enjoyed a full life of love, laughter, adventures and devotion for 35 years. Predeceased by half-brothers Clarence and Russell Cox. Survived by his long-time friends Mike Sarkady, Kenny Holzinger and in-laws Kevin, Kathleen and Sean O’Neill.

Grave-side services arranged by Anderson-Clayton Funeral Home for February 24, 2026 at 2 p.m. with military honors at the VA Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
