David Leroy Ranne

David Leroy Ranne, of Seagoville, TX entered his heavenly home with Christ Jesus on June 11, 2026, at Westpark Nursing Home. David was born on March 16, 1940 to Ada and Marion “Jack” Ranne. He worked as a tool and die maker for 24 years in Dallas.

He was married to Shirley for 5 years and later married Barbara for 7 years. David enjoyed movies, hunting, gun smithing, jewelry making, short wave radio antennae making and wood working in his shop. David was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Dallas and was passionate about sharing the goodness of Christ.

He was a beloved father to 6 children: Tina, Tim, Melinda, Kevin, Gary and Chandra and grandfather to 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He is survived by his sister Catherine Ranne Savage. He is reunited in heaven with his brothers John, Paul and Kenneth Ranne and sisters Hazel, Marie and Ruby. Those left to cherish his memories are numerous nieces, most closely Joann McKinney, nephews and friends who will miss him dearly.
