Hey everybody 1st mistake is his real name is George Don Lee Nelms- 2nd with proper care he possibly would still be around for those who really care…he’s better off now away from his loving wife where he actually gets to rest in peace. To bad his real grandkids were not allowed to know their grandfather oh well guess that’s what he wanted also since he never fought to actually have a relationship with them..his loss. My sister never stopped loving him and looked at him as her protector in life but he was really never able to show his real love for her either for reasons we all know. My sister was with him most every day all day long unlike others who would just see him sporadically. For those who think I’m just saying this as a disgruntled son please don’t. My dad was my best friend growing up but that was taken away when he remarried. Maybe at some point everyone else will know the truth.

Long time friend for many years.I met Don when he and his Dad owned the Million Items co. in south Dallas on Second Ave.Always very friendly. We will miss seeing him at Crandall Plumbing and Electric .
