Emerencio Rosa Jr.

A visitation/memorial for Emerencio Rosa Jr., 49, of Kaufman will be held at Anderson Clayton Funeral Home in Kaufman on Monday, December 13, 2021 from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. Emerencio passed away on Wednesday, December 8th, 2021 at Parkland Hospital in Dallas.

He was born in Dallas, Texas on July 28, 1972, the Son of Emerencio Rosa Sr. and Betty Reznicek Rosa Martinez. He worked as a freight maintenance and loved his family dearly.

Emerencio is survived by his parents, Betty Martinez and stepfather Rafael Martinez Jr.; son, Jesse Jones; daughter, Haley Cardwell; grandson, JJ; fiancé, Aimee Anderson; brothers, Rafael Martinez III, Eric Anthony Martinez, Nikko Daniel Martinez; nieces, Lauren Martinez, Laura Martinez; nephews, Rafael Martinez IV, Joey Martinez, Ruben Martinez and numerous loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Emerencio Rosa Sr., grandparents, Jose Maria Rosa Sr. and Amelia Rosa; grandparents, Anton Reznicek and Isabel Reznicek; grandparents, Rafael Martinez Sr. and Carmen Martinez; uncle Tony Reznicek.

Emerencio was dedicated to his family and friends. He enjoyed fishing, music and dancing. He was very good with his hands and devoted a lot his time tinkering on cars and motorcycles.

He was gentle, loving and kind and loved his mommas cooking. He lived life to the fullest and was very outgoing and was a jack of all trades. He will be carried forward for many future generations.
