Enedina Martinez

Enedina Martinez, age 83, passed away from this life on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital – Dallas.

Enedina was born on December 9, 1939, in Palau Coahuila, Mexico to her parents, the late Anastacio Martinez and the late Marcelina Briones. She was a homemaker taking care of her large family. She was married to her husband of many years, the late Eleuterio Martinez.

Those family members remaining to cherish her memories are her daughters, Petra Andrade (spouse Juan Jorge) of Kaufman Enedina Perez (spouse – Raul) of Kaufman; Sandra Gonzales (spouse – Baudelio) of Kaufman; Maria Martinez (spouse – Olegario) of Kaufman; Lorena Parker (spouse – Andrew) of Terrell; her sons, Jose Martinez (spouse – Elsa) of Mesquite; Eleuterio Martinez (spouse – Martha) of Kaufman; Mario Martinez (spouse – Araceli) of Kaufman and George Martinez (spouse – Rosie) of Terrell; her sister, Consepcion Martinez (spouse – Pepe) of Mexico; her brothers,; Luis Martinez-Briones of Mexico; Pedro Martinez- Briones of Mexico; and Juan Jose Martinez of Mexico.

Forty-three (43) grandchildren, fifty-two (52) great grandchildren, and twenty-one (21) great, great grandchildren also remain to cherish their grandmother.

In addition to her parents those preceding her in death were her husband, Eleuterio; daughter, Silvia Soto; her daughter, Juanita Martinez; her son, Oscar Martinez; and siblings, Narcedalia Martinez, Lucila Martinez, David Martinez, and Consuelo Martinez.

Friends are invited to gather with the family and share memories of Enedina, at a visitation on Monday, August 28, 2023, from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm at the Anderson-Clayton Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Kaufman. A funeral service Eglesia de Cristo en Kaufman on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at 10:00 am, with Pastor Juan Armendas officiating. Interment will follow in the Kaufman Cemetery in Kaufman.
