Franklin Dean Carroll
Resident of Mesquite, Texas
Born January 25, 1937, in Conway, Arkansas
Died October 8, 2023, in Mesquite Texas
How can I describe my Pop, Frank Carroll? He was the kindest person I have ever known, a gentle man who loved his family and friends. Totally dedicated to his wife, my mom, Pat, his sweetheart. He loved the outdoors and loved to be outdoors tending to his garden or watching his cows. His sense of humor was dry, and oh, so funny. He could stop a family argument with a single oddball word that would come out of nowhere and have us rolling on the floor forgetting what it was we were fighting about. A good man, a man of God, a man of forgiveness, a man of love. He will be missed.
He graduated from Benton High School in Benton, Arkansas in 1955.
He was a proud Mason and a Past Patron of the Eastern Star.
He worked for Texas Instruments as a mechanical engineer until his retirement in the late 80’s.
He was married for 56 years to Patricia Anne Hardman, the love of his life. They were married in Dallas in 1967.
He is preceded in death by his father, Aubrey James Carroll of Arkansas; his mother, Emma Hinesley Carroll of Arkansas, and his son, Terry Williams, also of Arkansas.
He is survived by:
