James Andrew Martin
James A. Martin peacefully passed away on Saturday evening October 9, 2021, with his wife Etta by his side. James was born November 6, 1934 to parents Thomas J. and Mary E. Cates Martin. James graduated from Crandall High School in 1954 and served in the United States Army. James married Etta Williams Birchfield in 1996 and they have enjoyed 25 years together and have made many happy memories. James was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas J. and Mary E. Martin, brothers Billy Mac Martin and Kenneth G. Martin and Etta's daughter Teresa Ferris. Those left to cherish memories of James are his wife Etta and her children Cynthia Dillard and Rick Birchfeild, James' daughter Deborah Williams Veak, brother and sister-in-law J.T. and Delois Martin and extended family.
