In Loving Memory of Jeff Turner

Jeffery Lynn Turner, a beloved husband, father, son, grandfather, and friend, passed away on January 4, 2024. Born on November 23, 1973, in Dallas, Texas, Jeff touched the lives of everyone he met with his outgoing nature and infectious laughter. He will always be remembered for his zest for life and his unwavering devotion to his loved ones.

Jeff enjoyed his career as a truck driver. He took great pride in his work and approached it with dedication and professionalism. Outside of work, Jeff had a wide range of interests that brought him joy. A lover of the great outdoors, he cherished spending time camping and fishing on the lake which allowed him to relax and unwind. Jeff also found excitement in racing his car at the local dirt track, feeling the adrenaline rush as he pushed himself to the limits.

However, above all else, Jeff's greatest source of happiness came from spending time with his family. Family vacations at the beach created memories that will be treasured forever. He was an exceptional husband to Joan'Nee (Sartain) Turner, they were each other's rock through thick and thin.

Jeff leaves behind a legacy of love shared with his loving wife Joan'Nee Turner; mother Janie Campbell; children: daughters Shelby Turner, Kelsey Turner, Laural Sartain; son Colton Turner; grandson Kayden Brizendine; granddaughter Brylee Brizendine. Although Jeff's physical presence may no longer be with us, his spirit will forever live on in their hearts.

He also leaves behind loving siblings: sisters Janet Mason and Penny Anderson; brother Mike Turner; nieces and nephews: Amanda Askew, Henry Askew, Jessica Turner, Tommy Anderson lll, Amber Wallace, Astrid Cantu, David Turner lll, Alivia Williams, Camryn Sheets, Brody Williams and Daxtyn Williams; as well as numerous great nieces, nephews; his father and mother in-law Ricky and Vickie Sartain; sister in-law Apryl Sartain and other beloved family and friends. Each one of them will hold onto the memories they shared with Jeff close to their hearts.

He was preceded in death by his father, David Turner, stepfather Frank Campbell, and grandparents William Claude Turner and Vera Lee Turner nephew Greg Turner. Although grief fills our hearts at this time of loss, we find solace in knowing that Jeff has reunited with his loved ones who have gone before him.

During this difficult time of grieving and remembrance, let us come together as a community to support one another and honor the life of an extraordinary man. Jeff's contagious laughter and his genuine care for others remind us to cherish each moment with our loved ones.
