Keith Edward Woody

Keith Woody, age 64, passed away peacefully at his home in Kaufman, TX on October 5, 2026.

 Keith was born on September 11, 1962 in Dallas, TX to his parents Linda Jones and Roy Woody. He graduated from Kaufman High School and went straight into the workforce where he worked for All Craft Printing for many years.

 Keith enjoyed spending his free time working with his hands, throwing axes, shooting guns, and collecting antiques. He was the father to Bryon, Erik and Trent Woody, all of whom held the most important place in his heart. He loved taking his sons camping and horseback riding during their childhood. They would also go to his favorite restaurant, El Jacalitos, every Friday. In his youth, Keith rode bulls at the rodeo and raced cars with his cousin Ricky.

 Keith is survived by his mother, Linda Jones; his three children Bryon Woody and wife Vivian, Erik Woody and wife Victoria, Trenton Woody and wife Cessie; his two grandsons Noah and Rowan; his siblings Shelly Kerr and husband Billy, Chad Jones, Brandon Jones and wife Julie, Tracy Crane and Rene Sanford; his longtime companion Pam Akin and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

 Keith, like everyone, made mistakes in life, but nothing ever changed his kind and caring heart! He was deeply loved through every chapter and will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
