Lela Rachel McKinney Beal

Lela Rachel (McKinney) Beal, age 88, of Carrollton, TX, was born on October 22, 1933, to parents Herschel and Lula (Rice) McKinney. She married Billy Charles Beal on May 4, 1973, in Durant, OK. Lela enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and quilting. She also loved driving and taking road trips with her kids. Her love for her children and grandchildren was the greatest thing of all, she was the best mom and grandmother anyone could ask for. Lela will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Lela is survived by her daughters, Suzie Reese of Carrollton, TX, and Cindy Moore of Calera, OK; son, George Waits of Carrollton, TX; grandsons, Travis Beal, Cody Beal, and Steve Reese; granddaughters, Sherry Beal and Christy Reese; sister, Margie McTague; 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Lela is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Beal; brothers, Jo McKinney, Billy McKinney, Jimmy McKinney; and sisters, Joyce Davis and Rita Hughes.
