Margie Findley

Margie Findley, age 93, passed away, Tuesday, June 14^, 2023, in Kaufman, Texas.

Margie was born on May 29, 1930, in Cleburne, Texas to her father, Lewis Wilkerson and Ira (Jenkins) Wilkerson. She worked as a secretary for many years at Glen Smith Paint and Body in Oak Cliff.

Those left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Barbara Green of Kaufman; son, Johnny Murdock of Kaufman; daughter, Marjorie Smith of Augusta, Georgia; her brother-in-law, Kent Gilley of Argyle, Texas; three grandchildren, Reissa Smith, Toby Smith, and Jeanie Drawdy (spouse – Eddie) all of Augusta, Georgia. Eight great grandchildren and four great, great grandchildren, also survive.

In addition to her late parents, Margie was preceded in death by her son, Gene Murdock; brothers, Eugene “Junker” Wilkerson; sister, Patricia Gilley; and grandson, Jimmy Smith.

Private family services will be held in the very near future.
