Willie "Dub" Ruby Jenkins, a dedicated Master Plumber and beloved family man, passed away on January 13, 2025, at the age of 84. Born on August 20, 1940, Dub's life was marked by a steadfast commitment to his career and an unwavering love for his family and community. Throughout his professional journey, Dub earned a reputation as an exceptional plumber, known for his skill and integrity. His career spanned many decades during which he built a legacy of reliability and quality work, making significant contributions to the field. A member of the Navy, Dub proudly served his country and carried the values of dedication and service throughout his life. Beyond his career and military service, he was a man of varied interests and hobbies. He found immense joy in spending time outdoors, particularly when fishing, bird hunting, and engaging in four-wheeling adventures. Dub also cherished moments spent at the cinema, driving through the countryside, visiting family, and enjoying friendly games of cards. He is survived by his loving daughter, Diann Poe, and son-in-law, Cory Poe; his daughter, Renae Lovins; nephew, Joe Jenkins; along with six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren who will carry on his memory with great affection. He was preceded in death by his wife, Leona Jean Jenkins of 48 years in 2014, son, William Harold Jenkins; his brothers, Jimmy Ross Jenkins, Louie Joe Jenkins, Harold Jenkins; his sisters, Geraldine Charlotte Fox, Bettie Lanell Marsh; and his step-father, Bill Ensor. Each of these family members held a special place in his heart, and their memories will forever be woven into the fabric of his story. Visitation will be held on January 18, 2025, from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM, followed by a Funeral Service from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Anderson - Clayton Funeral Home located at 305 N Jackson St, Kaufman, TX 75142. Willie "Dub" Ruby Jenkins will be remembered not only for his professional accomplishments but also for the love and joy he brought into the lives of those around him. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, who fondly recall the warmth he shared and the values he instilled in them.
